Immersive scenography on Amazon Prime !
For the filming of their new show, to be broadcast on Amazon Prime from January 6, 2023, the Itv Studio team called on FUGU to install an immersive wooden dome dubbed the “Astrochamber”. Considered one of the centerpieces of the set design, according to Le Parisien, the structure had a dual purpose: to reinforce immersion on the one hand, and to offer an innovative scenography that would leave a lasting impression on viewers.

Wooden geodesic domes are designed with a PEFC wood frame and galvanized steel connectors that guarantee optimal strength and an extended lifespan.
Our domes are available with several types of membranes adapted to event needs and living structures:
- Crystal PVC canvas (transparency and luminosity).
- Airtex canvas (sun protection).
- Blockout canvas (total opacity).
As an option, rockwool insulation improves thermal comfort. These canvases can also be completed with an additional protective tarpaulin to reinforce the watertightness during extreme weather conditions.
Wooden structures are designed to withstand strong winds and snow loads. All our models comply with ERP standards to ensure safety and stability.
The wooden domes are delivered as a kit, with a quick assembly system for easy installation. Thanks to their self-supporting design, no central posts interfere with the interior layout. This structure is therefore simple to assemble and saves considerable time.
